What a month February turned out to be. I unexpectedly ended up attending 4 Royal Bliss shows in a row, I shot and reviewed Lullwater, an awesome band I discovered in 2015 and I also interviewed lead singer, John Strickland. After discovering Highly Suspect in early 2015 thanks to my awesome local radio station 95.1 WIIL, I finally saw them live. I also shot and reviewed their show and I even interviewed drummer Ryan Meyer. After a five year hiatus, I saw my 17th Beatallica show. They played all of Abbey Load and more. Two sets! It was awesome to hear all those old favorites again!
I interviewed the singer/guitarist of The Virginmarys and I wrote a couple album reviews. A first for me but the response has been pretty awesome.
Oh and if you lived in NY in 1996 or know someone that did, Local H are trying to find the kids that appeared in their Bound for the Floor video. A where are they now kind of scenario. Will be cool to see if they find anyone.
I’ve got a short break on shows, but my April and beyond is going to get a bit crazy!
