First off, happy birthday to my brother, Greg!
Ok, I know I have not “technically” announced any updates, but I’ve been making them here and there. IE: posting pics and adding more shows to my 2010 Concerts list 😀 Check out my list for some show reviews and pics. It’s always an on-going process to upload pics, but I’ll get them all up there one of these days!
I’ve been to some HELLA-AWESOME shows this year…and the best part? There are still more to come! Although, what appears to be my last shows of the year will be pretty bittersweet. See, one of my fave bands is going on a hiatus. After 20 years, The Black Crowes are taking another break. Because God only knows if they will ever regroup as a full band again, I’m flying out to San Francisco to see the last 3 shows of their 6 night run at the historic Fillmore. (for those that may remember, I also saw another fave band of mine, back in 2003, at the same venue. A little band named Metallica 😉 Who would have thought I’d being going out to CA to see a band OTHER than Metallica. HAHA Either way, in 2 months I’ll be flying out and rooming with a friend for this event. We are both super excited! I just hope the weather is decent. No one likes to freeze standing in line waiting to get in for a GA show! 😉
My music collecting has been going full force: CDs, vinyl, books, posters, magazines, promo photos, etc, etc. I think you get the point. DAMN YOU EBAY!!! Some of my friends think I’m crazy, but admit I’ve been getting some pretty cool stuff. What can I say? I’m a muzik freak! 😀
I also hit the big 4-0 back in August. Hubby and friends threw me a surprise party. Well, mostly surprise 🙂 It was great to celebrate with everyone. For some reason I handled this big birthday milestone a HECK of a lot better than the last milestone. Although, WHERE IN THE HELL did the last 10 years go?
Halloween is also fast approaching. I’m still trying to decide on a new “prop” for the yard this year and how I want my costume to look. It’s so much fun getting ready to scare the kiddies on Trick or Treat night! BOO!
I’m sure there is more I could write about, but I need to go thru more pics! Speaking of, I add a ton more to my Family and Friends section as well.
